I could really do with some help and a chat. I have not been diagnosed but the hospital have prescribed me gabapentin which is first given to MS sufferers. My brain scan was clear , I feel that the medical DRs and my family think I am a bit mentally unwell , and I am making it up. I am have trouble walking and using my right hand. Any advise would be heard gratefully

I have just been diagnosed as RRMS my first attack was 2003 and all my tests were clear LP and MRI , scans were indicitive in 2005 of leisons and the LP showed oligoclonal bands again a +ve for MS.
I am recovering from relapse at present but still have balance difficulties and painful right hand, bit of neuritis too.
Dont know if this helps at all... or not!

I’m here,lol.
I am new to the site and in the process of having a diagnosis. I already know that I have lesions and tell tale signs of ms. But without having the proper diagnosis i am left floundering (well at least for the moment)
The waiting list to see the neurologist is 7 to 8 months and i have no idea how long the waiting list to see the neurologist is.
Still i have to live life and so does my family.

Hope to chat to someone soon.

Michelle
