Hello.
I’m massie from Japan.
In Japan, "Interferon-beta-1b" is our only treatment at the present stage.
I heard that the other tratments are approved in the foreign countries.
Would you please tell me about the treatments in your country ?

hi massie,I can only speak for myself but treatments are many for different aspects of M.S. The main one being" beta interferon".As you may know different symtoms can occur from M.S. which all have different treatments one being steroids which can only be used once a year in some cases.I don,t know a great deal myself as I,m not affected as bad as others. The main problem I have is from dizzyness which i take tablets for.I can,t say much more about it at this time but if i come up with anything i,ll certainly contact you.

Hello,tam152.
I’m sorry that I could not answer you soon.
Because my PC was out of condition and I left the manufacturer to repair it. It came back to me yesterday.
Thank you for your kind and reply. I’m very, very, very glad.
In Japan, It takes long long time by a new medicine is approved.
Recentry the one medicine for lung cancer was approved exceptional speed. As a result, more than one hundred patients were died with the
by-product. I have misgivings about the approval of other medicines.
Please tell me that you get the new infomentions about MS.
I read your profile. I am very sorry about your wife. I think you are a respectable man. Because you keep belonging ms-gateway and give messages to us.

Hello again, tam152,
I’m massie.
Thank you for your answer of late.
I said we could have use only " Interferon beta 1-b ".
Recently I got a news about " Interferon beta 1-a (abonex ?) ".
That was not a good news.
In Japan the research of " interferon beta 1-a " with patients proceeded .
But now , that research is frozen .
I wish that research would have resumed .

Hi all
I am trying to research stem cell therapy. I don’t know whether it is available in japan, but I understand that you can have this in Europe.

I am on beta feron but all it does is stop me getting more relapses. Let me know if you hear of anything else

Hi,IC01,
Thank you for your message.

I heard that some of the patients had been gotten the numbness melt away since the first day of the first cooling-off-period.
But about me, anything but I hadn’t done like that, I got a new focuses.
And when I came out of the hospital, some new symptoms appeared.

Do you know that’s why?

Hello, jc01.
Sorry I haven’t been in touch for a while.

I don’t know what the other treatments do in England.
In Japan, only BFN now.

I heard that "avonex" was examining.
In Japan, there is a Japanese type.
I am not that. I am belong in the European type.

I don’t know the causality, there are patients who have no recurrences only one time BFN.
I recured 4 times in 7 years.

I’ll write again later.
