01 - 27.04.2009, 23:46 Hi everyone, I’d like to introduce myself before beginning this post to make any conflicts of interest clear and to clear the air. I am a web designer and I am responsible for running a website called My MS Story: www.mymsstory.com I have been payed to run this website paid to bring traffic to it. To make a long story short; Some time ago I was contacted by a local woman, Val Moffat, who had been working on a book about her life and her battle with MS. In the book she also wrote about some simple discoveries her and her husband had made that had a positive effect on the symptoms - I am sure alot of people with MS may know there is a connection between the diet & MS, and this is one of the things Val has written about - she’s narrowed down an exact list of ’forbidden foods’ in the book. She also writes about many other things, and by documenting her discoveries and changing things such as the way she eats, how she exercises, etc... she has gone from being confined to a wheelchair to being able to walk and drive. To be frank with you, when meeting her to discuss creating this website, I would not have known she had any illness at all had it not been for the topic of our meeting! Val and her husband worked for a few years with other people with MS and eventually she figured out a kind of "bible" for people with Multiple Sclerosis. It’s NOT a cure, just a book that has a step by step explanation of how she overcame some of the worse symptoms of the disease and now walks, drives, socialises etc... again. Other people have followed it with good results. I can vouch for the authenticity of her story and I can vouch for this book. Its pretty comprehensive, and I think it has the potential to literally change lives. http://indexsite2.mymsstory.hop.clickbank.net/ That’s the link again above. Yes, she makes money off this book but I think that’s fair: she had originally planned to sell it with a publisher but had no luck, and explained to me that whilst she had helped people by giving away her knowledge for free - MANY people - she wanted to reach a wider audience and have people follow the advice in her book carefully (of course people would be more willing to follow it carefully after paying for it). For fear of time wasters there is no mention of the books refund policy on the main page but if you are unhappy with it you can request a refund no questions asked from the vendor, ClickBank. If anyone has any questions about it please feel free to ask me. I understand this post qualifies as advertising - or even spam - but I also think it is a valuable resource that people of this forum may wish to look into. I have tried to make this an educational post and make my intentions clear. If you do not buy, could I ask kindly that perhaps you explain what put you off a purchase? Anything at all - what questions did the website not answer for you, etc...? Drew Cameron, webmaster posting on behalf of Val Moffat |
